Alexandra & Michael got married on a wonderful Saturday at Hudson’s at Vredenheim Estate in Stellenbosch in early February.

It was the kind of day that dreams are made of – Alexandra looked like a vision and Michael looked so handsome in his tux. A perfect match!

I was lucky enough to have photographed Michael’s brother’s wedding in 2018 (Tami & Jody) and felt right at home when I arrived at the wedding and saw some familiar faces!

There was a romantic ceremony on the lush lawn overlooking the mountains and Hudson’s famous dam and gardens with some tigers in the background if you squinted a little! A fun and sweet couple shoot came after the ceremony as we found all the best spots and the best light to work with on the property, followed by the reception.

Many jokes and wonderful words of advice were given to the couple, but Michael’s dad gave us this gem that I thought was quite poignant: “Let there be space in your togetherness” – it really rang true to me and I thought a good piece of advice for newlyweds.

I had a great time at this wedding and I am so thrilled with the outcome of these photos.
