Ally sent me a message on instagram with a crazy idea: her and her fiance, Chris, were in South Africa to visit with Chris’ family, and she had brought her wedding dress. She asked whether I was available at short notice for a small elopement style shoot with his family while they were all together – Of COURSE I said yes!

I was so happy that I was available to photograph this special moment for them. Ally got dressed with her mom on video call, celebrating with a glass of wine (at some point in the Canadian morning! She really embraced the wedding vibes!) 
We did a some bridal portraits, a stunning first look moment and then family and couple photos. This location was an AirBnB that was so beautiful and had the best views of the mountains – just a stunning location, showing off the best of Franschhoek for sure!

The plan for Ally & Chris is to have a big blow out wedding at a later stage, but as they’re travelling the world right now, they want to do elopement style photos in all the countries that they visit. I was so happy to be their first stop and their Cape Town representative and I’m so excited to keep up with their adventures and see more of their photos!
