Annei & Frikkie are two of the bubbliest, happiest and most wonderful people you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting. Everything they do, they do with their entire selves and hold nothing back. It is so rare to meet people who are so totally themselves, and it was a huge pleasure to work with them. The reception space was set up so beautifully that my wonderful assistant, Lindsay, had to drag me away so that I could photograph all the other lovely things going on – but I honestly could’ve spent absolutely hours in the space, photographing all the beautiful details. We met with Frikkie at the Arniston Hotel, where we grabbed a couple of snaps of him & his groomsmen enjoying a drink before we went over to Annei to get all the beautiful getting ready photos. I was totally blown away when I saw Annei in her dress (and I think Frikkie was too!) it was so beautiful and delicate, but twirled and swirled so beautiful when Annei danced around – perfection!
The ceremony started and the beautiful mist rolled in, completely covering every photo spot we wanted to visit – but fear not! Annei & Frikkie were total troopers the entire time and were happy to walk on the beach, surrounded by sand and misty cliffs. It made for really beautiful and touchingly romantic photos.
