I had the absolute privilege of capturing Carin & Ashwin’s autumnal wedding day at Zevenwacht Wine Estate, right on the edge of Stellenbosch and Kuilsriver. It was such a wonderful wedding to document for several reasons, one of which is that Carin and I go way, way back. We were friends in high school, and had every class together from grade 10 to matric. We’d see each other at school and then I’d phone her when I got home that evening and chat for another hour before seeing her at school again the next day and doing it all over again. 🤣

When we met up for the first time in YEARS to discuss her wedding day, it was probably 20% wedding talk, and 80% catching up.

Carin is one of the most compassionate, kind and smart people I know. Doing her wedding photos was an absolute honour and meeting Ashwin, the man that won her heart really made this day incredibly special to me.
