You may recognize Danielle & Marqwin from their engagement shoot just a few months ago. Danielle loved the autumn vibes of the engagement photo and I was so hoping for some orange/yellow trees on their wedding day. I was not disappointed! It was my first time shooting at Groenrivier Function Venue, and I’d love to shoot there again!

I always watch the weather like a hawk in the week leading up to a wedding, and this was no exception. Rain was forecast for their wedding day, and as a result things had to be shuffled around a little bit. I think it ended up turning out for the best, as Danielle walked down the aisle amongst autumn oak leaves and had the most romantic ceremony vibe in the cosy cellar.
We ended up doing the bridal party photos inside the venue (another great reason for a big dance floor… 😉 ) and I think we walked away with the best of all worlds! The rain stopped just long enough for us to step outside and get some amazing couple photos in the orange autumn trees and literally as the couple walked into the venue, the clouds opened up and rain poured down outside.

It was a day blessed with rain in the end, and I adore these photos so much.
