Emelda & Allistaire had their stunning wedding day at Barrique Restaurant at Vredenheim. It was one of those glorious December days where the breeze was hitting just right and the sun was baking down on everybody.

Surrounded by friends and family, they said their I-dos in front of the iconic manor house, and headed into the cellar for their reception. But we first took total advantage of all the gorgeous greenery and scenery that Barrique has to offer. I love these old Oak trees that surround the property and the little pops of colour in the garden just round out the photos so beautifully.

At the reception, I was really taken in with Emelda & Allistaire’s speeches to one another. These are two people who have clearly known each other for a long time, and as a result their words were filled with the kind of personal intimacy that only time brings. I was so happy for them that they could have their dream wedding day, and start this new chapter of their happily ever after! <3
