Erin & Fritz | Wedding | Suikerbossie Restaurant | Hout Bay, Cape Town
Erin & Fritz got married on one of the windiest days of the year, but that didn’t stop them from having an amazing wedding day!
I arrived at the ladies to photograph the details and the hustle and bustle of getting ready – everybody was full of nervous laughter and bits of advice for the day and it was lovely to be part of such a jovial atmosphere.
I was lucky enough to be at Christ Church Kenilworth again (third time!) to photograph their I-dos! The church was packed with friends and family – a few who shed a tear at Erin walking down the aisle with her brother on her arm. It was a touching ceremony and very heartfelt!
For the couple shoot, we initially wanted to try the Hout Bay Harbour area, but unfortunately the wind was so strong that we were struggling to stand up right. We abandoned that plan and went straight back to the venue for couple photos, bridal party and family photos, all which went perfectly well!
The night ended with some hilarious speeches and Erin’s niece and nephew playing a big part in keeping the party atmosphere going until Fritz swept Erin off her feet (literally!) for their first dance.
It was a stunning wedding day and I am so happy to have been a part of it!
