What’s more nerve wrecking than photographing another photographers wedding? Photographing their little sisters wedding! Jaime is the sister of fellow photographer, Chane, from 25 weddings, who I work with often. So of course I was incredibly flattered that Jaime asked me to photograph her wedding because big sister Chane definitely had to sign off on me before any booking happened! 

When I originally met up with Jaime and Robert to chat about their wedding day, we ended up talking for way longer than expected! We immediately just got along, and ended up chatting about so many non-wedding related things! I knew instantly that the wedding day would be a total breeze, and I wasn’t wrong! 

Jaime and Robert got married at an old favourite, Forest44 at La Pineta Restaurant. I have had some of the best wedding food of my life at this venue and I’m always excited when it comes up on my roster again. Everything prepared was the epitome of classic, timeless, elegance. The decor was classic in it’s simplicity, and Jaime looked like she stepped right off the screen of Gilda (1946). I adored Robert’s forest green suit (you all know I’m a sucker for a unique colour suit!) and his leather tie! 

We hopped over to another venue for couple photos, and honestly, if the sun wasn’t actively going down, we could’ve kept shooting happily! Just take a look at how stunning! Overall an entirely beautiful wedding day, filled with a lot of sentimental details that rounded the day out perfectly.
