When I met with Jamie & Craig at their engagement shoot, done just shortly before their wedding day, I knew that their wedding day would be special. Jamie was the most classic bride, with all the details (big and small) so lovingly hand picked.

It was an extremely hot day at Kronenburg, one of my favourite venues to shoot, but you wouldn’t say from Jamie & Craig’s cool composure throughout. We did the first set of couple portraits immediately following the ceremony, but as it was a day time wedding, we had the opportunity to pop out for more couple photos after the main festitivies of the reception and I am SO glad we did. Not only had it cooled down a bit by then (38 degrees down to 35 degrees – I’ll take it!) but both Jamie and Craig were relaxed and not feeling rushed. This is my favourite thing about day time weddings – you can really take your time with everything and not feel like you need to be somewhere else at all times.
