Sonya and Justin… what an incredible couple! Totally unphased by walking through the steep vineyards to get that “perfect shot” and unphased at Sonya losing a nail mid-photo shoot (she had spares – how amazingly prepared are they?!) this shoot was a total walk in the park! (er… walk in the vineyards, maybe?)

There were so many giggles and both Justin & Sonya were so relaxed for the entire shoot – I am so glad that they chose Dieu Donne Vineyards as their engagement shoot venue, the folks at the venue were so incredibly helpful and willing and it made shooting there an absolute pleasure! I had done some weddings and a styled shoot there (many years ago!), but it had been a while… so I was glad to have a friendly and capable team to help us out!

I loved the colour palette of this shoot, the pastels worked so perfectly with the soft light and beautiful view over all of Franschhoek, and Sonya’s attention to detail (like her beautiful nails) just made this shoot a favourite! <3
