Photographing another photographer is always nerve wrecking! But Kendra and Matt were so wonderful, friendly and charming that it made it very relaxing and fun to shoot their engagement photos a few weeks ago.
We hopped over to Vergelegen Estate, which is a favourite venue of mine (If you’ve been a follower of mine for a while, you’ll know this!) and I was actually so pleased that we had a bit of cloud cover. Although you can’t see the mountains in all their glory, you can shoot in any direction without being blinded by the sun, which is always a bonus. It made it so easy to choose locations and we just had a nice stroll through all the gardens and entrances to find some great spots.

Matt was cracking jokes the entire time, which of course made Kendra laugh, which in turn made for beautiful photos! These two are getting married early next year and I can’t wait to see what they bring. If the engagement shoot was this good, the wedding is sure to be a fantastic event!
