You may recognize Kim & Dion from their family shoot at Jonkershoek a few months ago. December finally came, and with it, their wedding day!
Both Kim & Dion are the kinds of people who make sure you’re comfortable before they are. They go out of their way to be kind and considerate and it made it an absolute joy to photograph their wedding day. There was excitement, mingled with a nervous energy as I photographed them getting ready. The groomsmen and bridesmaids did excellent jobs keeping the soon-to-be-weds calm and collected.

I adored the colour scheme for this wedding – all the lovely touches of pink really spoke to Kim & Dion’s home life – surrounded by their daughters!

Day weddings are always relaxing and have a very chilled atmosphere, but this was something else. I felt like I could be myself and enjoy myself as well as be responsible for photos. Seated at the table with the bridesmaids and groomsmen, I heard lovely stories of the bride and groom and just really felt at home. I think this is a testament to who Kim & Dion are, and how they treat those around them. Two more special people I think you will be hard pressed to find.

I am so happy that they found each other and can now open this next chapter in their lives together.
