Laura & Anrich Engagement Shoot | Philadelphia
When Laura emailed me and asked if we could do a sunrise engagement shoot in Philadelphia, I immediately said yes! It took me a few minutes to calculate what time the sun would rise and what time I would have to be awake to get to Philadelphia on time. I cringed slightly, because I am the type of person who is more likely to wake up at midday than 5am, but there I was – on the road at 4:30am on a Thursday morning, ready to photograph these two wonderful people.
I am an absolute grump first thing in the morning and I think I said about two words to my boyfriend, Dennis, on the hour-long drive to the location, but when we arrived we were met with the two friendliest faces who offered us tea and coffee and warm jackets and all the things that make mornings better! We adventured into a field to get some amazing sunrise photos, and Laura and Anrich just did their thing. They were so at ease in front of the camera and I loved photographing them and all the little details they brought to the shoot. A more tender and loving couple I don’t think you’ll find easily. We ended the shoot by looking out at the tiny town of Philadelphia (all 4 streets of it) and on the way back to the car, just stood chatting and chatting and chatting. It was so wonderful and magical to be a part of such a lovely experience with these two, and I cannot wait for their wedding day later this year. (Seriously July, why are you so far away?!)
They are amazing! Every photo you took had something beautiful about it. Thanks again. Can’t wait for our wedding photos in July!
