A stunning November afternoon, a couple in love and scenery like this? What more could a photographer ask for?! Well, that doesn’t even begin to describe Lauren & Lance’s wedding day, although it’s a start!

They got ready and married at Du Kloof Lodge outside Paarl. It was a first at this venue for me, but man – was it pretty! I’ll gladly take more work at this venue, thank you very much! You know it’ll be a good day when the bridesmaids are helpful and kind right off the bat, and when the bridal details look like this? SWOON! I easily could’ve spent hours… no… DAYS photographing this feast for the eyes, but thankfully I have assistants to keep my head on straight and not let me get lost in the small details!

Lauren looked like a total dream with her flowy A-line gown and sparkles on her shoes. This colour scheme worked perfectly and I think created a gorgeous contrast to the wooden building and dark features of the log-cabin feel.
Everybody brought their A-game to this wedding day and it certainly shows. I loved working with Lauren and Lance, although it was a sweltering day they just carried on like champs, walking up and down (with sore feet) just to NAIL that shot.
