Leticia and Granville were my last wedding couple of 2017, and I certainly feel like I ended the year on a high!

Both the bride and the groom got ready at the gorgeous Le Pommier, and when I photographed Granville there were nerves, but overall the groomsmen were doing a fabulous job keeping him calm and relaxed. Leticia was nervous, excited and a bit emotional throughout her getting ready process and it even caused me to take a few deep breaths and we all tried our hardest not to bawl our eyes out. Leticia had a few really touching moments with her mom before leaving for the church, and I was so happy to capture them for her.

The church service was held at the well-known Pniel Congregational Church, and it was such a touching and moving ceremony. Reminders of why we were all there, and to keep the focus on the couple and their promises to each other.

We headed to the venue, where I had already photographed the d??cor, and totally swooned over the entire venue to take some family photos and group photos. The bridal party were total troopers for standing in the blistering sun and you can???t even tell that it was approximately a billion degrees. My assistant, Nadine, was fantastic at keeping us all hydrated. We did some romantic couple shots (as Leticia and Granville do so well!) and walked a bit away from the venue to get a bit of shade. Marlenique Estate is such a gorgeous venue with so much to offer, and I feel we totally took advantage of that.

The reception was amazing ??? Leticia surprised Granville (and us all!) by having invited his absolute favourite singer, and ex-Idols SA contestant, Elwire Standili. She blew us all away (and I had to remind myself I was there for the photos and not her performance, haha!) and left more than one person in tears.

Many venues don???t allow sparklers inside, so we jumped outside at the perfect time of evening and got a little newly-wed walk and smooch to the background of sparklers.

We then went inside where the couple and their friends danced the night away! What an amazing wedding to end 2017 with ??? thank you Leticia and Granville for being so incredible the entire way through! <3 It was like photographing the wedding of a friend.
