Oh my. What a totally stunning wedding that I’m sharing with you today. Lucinda and Marlon’s wedding was just something else – every little detail was thought of and beautifully presented for me to photograph and capturing the day was made easy by the two newlyweds.

I haven’t done a wedding at Kronenburg in quite some time, and I was delighted to be shooting there again! The day started off with photographing Marlon and his groomsmens getting ready, and that was a total breeze! They were so easy to photograph and of course, I become a favourite when I suggest that they pour themselves something to drink and have a toast! After that I popped into the ladies room and got all those gorgeous details and of course spent a good chunk of the time photographing Lucinda, who just looked radiant. The dress, the hair, the makeup… it all came together perfectly and I think showcased all of Lucinda’s best features.

The ceremony was in the amphitheater, and because it was over 40 degrees, the priest kept it short and sweet, ending with a dramatic kiss before heading inside to sign the register.??The bridal party photos that followed were so much fun and the bridesmaids had this great idea to bring white umbrellas with them, which just made for the sweetest photos! The groomsmen had their own ideas and I happily snapped away while they were doing their thing.

We split the couple shoot into two parts to make the most of the gorgeous lighting, by getting the bright light in the more closed in places and the softer sunset light in the open. Kronenburg has such beautiful views and it’s totally worth spending a few extra minutes outside to get that all in.

The reception was a total blast. The MC carried on with funny speeches and interjections and Marlon surprised Lucinda with a lip sync of ALL of the best love songs! She joined in with a lip sync duet and it was SO cute. I loved photographing this wedding and I hope enjoy looking at these gorgeous photos!
