Natalie and Jermaine’s wedding day was exquisite! Au D’Hex may be my new favourite venue – it has a gorgeous ceremony area on a jetty on the dam, with gorgeous walk ways, surrounded by trees which is a total Godsend in the middle of summer. So from the start of the day, before I had even seen any little details, I was already super excited to get the day going! The main manor house is connected, so moving between Natalie and Jermaine was super easy and made it quick to get some groom portraits as well as spend time focusing on the all-important bride! Both Natalie and Jermaine were super calm and collected and that made for wonderful photos.

The ceremony had a few heart stopping moments… Natalie walking down the aisle, her dad kissing her and handing her over to Jermaine… and that unforgettable moment where Jermaine dropped the rings! They fell on the jetty and miraculously missed all the gaps between the planks, but it was the dramatic moment nobody was expecting!

I feel like I have to spend a moment to call out Natalie’s dress. It was a totally stunner, with this massively dramatic train that we just had to get blowing in the breeze for their couple photos – which both Jermaine and Natalie totally NAILED. Easily one of the kindest and sweetest couples I have had the pleasure of photographing, they put their full trust in me and because of that trust, I felt free to create some of my favourite wedding photos of 2018.
