Nicole & Ashley | Wedding | Manley Wine Lodge | Tulbagh

I had never been to Tulbagh before, so when Nicole & Ashley told me they were getting married there, I was instantly excited for a new adventure! Little did I know that Manley Wine Lodge was such a stunning little gem just outside the town and I would come to love this venue more and more as the day went on!

Ashley got ready at the Tulbagh Hotel, which is now on my list of places to stay when visiting this quiet little town, and it was the perfect spot for getting ready! All the groomsmen were in good spirits and we had a great laugh about some bachelor party incidents while getting these shots. I especially loved these detail photos and the more contrasty and moody groom portraits.

From there I moved onto Manley Wine Lodge where Nicole was getting ready at one of the cottages next to the most beautiful view of the mountains. Nicole’s new mother in law made her dress (!!) and it was the perfect fit. Nicole made the most beautiful bride and we had such fun with the bridal portraits!

The ceremony was short and sweet and held in the tiniest little chapel on the property. We did some family photos and then headed down to get a great view of the mountains for their couple shoot.
Nicole and Ashley claim not to be photogenic, but this is evidence to the contrary! They nailed the couple shoot and we had a lot of fun while the sun came and went as it pleased.

Walking into the reception was a wonderland of beauty. I could see everybody had put in a lot of effort and every care was taken for things to be perfect. We were met with cheers and speeches as the couple were welcomed in. Just as we had settled in, the clouds opened and the rain came pouring down!

The evening was a massive success and we had a wonderful time chatting to guests and getting fun dancing photos!

Overall, this was an amazing wedding and I would be happy to do it all over again! <3
