In 2013, Mariska was pregnant with her youngest son, Aiden, and asked me to do a maternity shoot. With dad Arno and big brother Ethan we took some amazing shots on this exact beach. Now, 3 and a half years later, we met up again on the same beach to photograph their beautiful family of four.

I was so happy to see how Ethan had adapted to being an amazing big brother, and Arno and Mariska were still so totally in love with each other. It was a huge pleasure to photograph such a wonderful family, and to see the perfect example of how a modern, loving family should be. I enjoyed photographing them all so much and I can’t wait to see them again in a few years for some more updated photos of their incredible family.
