As I sit here and go through the images from Michael and Renate’s wedding, I am reminded of their special day. ??The softness of the decor, mirrored in Renate’s wedding gown, Michael’s face as he saw her coming down the aisle towards him, and the quiet little moments in their couple shoot where it felt as though I wasn’t even there.

It was a glorious day, and if you didn’t know any better you’d think it were the middle of spring! The gardens at Hudson’s were filled with flowers and greenery, the sky overcast with a gentle light that washed over all their guests. It was one of my favourite wedding days. A day wedding, on a Sunday – everything just felt so relaxed and flowed with ease.

I had a wonderful time photographing Renate & Michael, long after their guests had left. Weddings like these make me so incredibly thankful for the wonderful and kind clients I encounter in my job, and I am so grateful to be able to do what I do for couples like these! <3
