I feel like I am so fiercely intertwined with this family now. I photographed Nadine’s wedding in 2015, I did their family portraits earlier in 2016 and now I get to blog Shameen’s wedding photos! (no pressure for 2017??Junaid…) 😉 It was such a beautiful wedding, a true celebration of a long romance which has culminated in this glorious day. Friends and family gathered to celebrate Shameen and Mark’s wedding at George’s Greek Restaurant just outside Somerset West, in Stellenbosch.

I was only a part of the day for a short time, but we managed to get so many photos – these two are SERIOUSLY photogenic! I guess having tons of photographer friends is a huge perk to a bride, because Shameen was so practiced and so relaxed throughout all the shooting and Mark was a true pro. He couldn’t take his eyes off his new bride, and that made photographing them an absolute pleasure. <3
