I have been looking forward to photographing and blogging this wedding since Steph & Anton booked me, and it did not disappoint! So I know that there are loads of wonderful things about a wedding day, but I just (briefly) want to draw your attention to the fact that they had a DONUT WALL. It’s like they knew my hearts deepest desire for sugary goodness!

Besides the literal wall of sugar, the day was filled with so much sweetness. Steph was full of butterflies and nerves as she was getting ready, with her mom and aunt helping her with those final getting ready touches. Steph looked an absolute dream as she walked down the aisle, and Anton’s face said it all. It was a stunning short and sweet ceremony at Devon Valley Hotel in Stellenbosch, and then we hopped over to the reception venue, JC Le Roux for the couple photos and the festivities.

This was definitely a wedding where you can tell the guests had a total blast! The speeches were heartfelt and left more than a few people simultaneously laughing and shedding some tears. Steph and Anton are both such loved people, and it was clear to see that their lightness of spirit and love for each other permeated the room and all that were in it. It’s always special to be a part of people’s wedding days, but this wedding will definitely leave a lasting impression with me!
