Marinel & Jurgens tied the knot at Picardie Guest Farm in Paarl in December, and it was a stunner of a wedding day. It was my first time shooting at Picardie (and hopefully not my last!) and it really made an impression on me. Surrounded by trees, they framed the ceremony area and created a really beautiful backdrop for all the photos throughout the day.

One of my highlights of the wedding day was the  games they played during the reception – including a lotto ticket for each guest – which created this atmosphere of fun and familiarity.
