philosophy
For me, photography is more than just getting a beautiful photo, it’s about capturing a moment, a connection between people. My ideal client is one that saves up for their dream wedding, and puts their thoughts and love into the aspects of the day that mean a lot to them, whether that’s being surrounded by family, wearing a beautiful gown or partying in a venue of their dreams. I am fiercely passionate about creating a connection with my clients, as I feel this is what I capture and what comes through on camera. I believe in not only loving your beautiful photographs, but about being reminded of having a great time and feeling comfortable while they were being taken.
These photographs become heirlooms to bring alive your story to future generations, carefully crafted to showcase your once-in-a-lifetime memories.

style
I consider my style to be light, airy and most of all – timeless.
A focus on skin tones is important for me – I want all to feel welcome and represented in my work, exactly as they are. Staying true-to-life while still keeping my signature bright style is very important for me.
I have a mix of a candid and a posed style of photography. In my 10 years of photography, I have found that most people need guidance and direction for the portrait parts of the days (portraits, family formals, etc) but I do step back when moments are happening naturally throughout the day.
I have a hands on approach on the wedding day, stepping in to help with fluffing your dress, tying your shoe laces or walking your grandmother to her seat – it helps me to feel a part of the day in a larger part than just photographer, which I believe gives me a deeper insight and understanding to your day.
THE PROCESS
01.
BOOKING YOUR DATE
The first step to a happily ever after wedding is getting your suppliers in order. Reach out to me to chat, see if I’m available for your date and get to know me a little better.
Not only should a photographer’s work speak to you, but you should also be comfortable with them. I have loads of recommendations and resources to share with you to make planning a little easier on you.
If you want to meet up for a cup of coffee, a video call or a phone call to see if I’m the right fit for your day, we can set a date!
02.
THe engagement shoot
Practice makes perfect! An engagement shoot is the perfect way to get comfortable in front of the camera, comfortable with me and my direction and of course get photos of you that tell your love story in a more casual way. An excellent way to get lovely save the date photos as well!
I use this opportunity to get to know you a little bit better, which photos and poses work for you and bring that knowledge with me on your wedding day to help everything run a little bit smoother.
03.
PLANNING AND TIMELINES
I work very closely with all of my couples on a timeline for their wedding day that not only makes sense, but flows organically.
I want to make sure that time is spent on the things you want, getting the photos you love.
I send out a questionnaire before the wedding day to get all the little details, and confirm all the big ones. This includes a family photo list to make sure that nobody is forgotten or left behind!

YOUR WEDDING DAY!
Your wedding day is here!
I believe in giving equal attention to all parts of the wedding day, whether it’s small details or big picture things.
Precious moments, posed or candid, are all important and I like to make sure there is an authenticity to all the images. Authentic to me as a photographer, but most importantly, authentic to who you are as a couple.
05.
THE DIGITAL DELIVERY
After the wedding day, you’ll receive a small gallery of sneak peek images to share and enjoy.
After 6-8 weeks, you will get a gallery with all of your final, edited images. I don’t hold back, so prepare yourself for a lot of photos!
You will use this to select the photos for your printed photo album, which I’ll use to make up the design. I send the design to you before sending it off to the printers, and then we wait…
06.
FINAL DELIVERY
Your photo albums, prints and elegant crystal USB are ready to be sent off and land safely in your hands.
I take great pride in all the packaged up details, and this may be my absolute favourite part of the entire process. I love giving a physical product, and firmly believe in having something tangible and tactile from your wedding day.
