I will never forget what Simone and Brent said to me when I met up with them the first time. They said “Alex, you do whatever you need to do with us on the day to get great photos – we trust you!” – hearing that from clients is like photographer-crack. I knew that it meant that they wouldn’t be phased if I suggested strange and crazy things (which I am prone to do, lets be honest!). On the wedding day it was no different – totally cool, calm and collected, Simone and Brent got ready for their big day.

Cultivar Guest Lodge in Stellenbosch is absolutely beautiful, and perfect for an intimate affair like Simone & Brent’s wedding. I had an amazing time photographing their wedding, and I had such a struggle choosing photos to go in this blog post. It is a long one, so prepare yourself. But it is so totally worth it.
